Information for suppliers

Solution providers to the industry are a critical part of the puzzle in not only providing the platforms but also the expertise to enhance the data collection and utilisition strategies of towercos and MNO tower management teams globally.

Speaking to suppliers it has become clear that they struggle with a number of challenges including:

– Limited awareness, at CxO level, of the importance of a sophisticated data strategy among target customers

– A complex solutions landscape, leaving many operators confused about the best approach for their information needs

– A large gap between the aspirations of towercos to understand their portfolios better, and the reality of their systems and budgets

To address these challenges and those of towercos, the working group has come up with of immediate action points to begin work on, summarised in the table below.

Developing the taxonomy and repository of case studies highlighted above will require close collaboration with suppliers to the sector.

 

Help shape the taxonomy and map your products to it

Throughout the course of April, TowerXchange will be engaging with suppliers to obtain their feedback on the draft taxonomy whilst mapping available products and services to each available capability. The goal of the exercise is to develop a clearer classification of products and services available, to help towercos make informed decisions about the tools that would best suit their needs, and the kind of vendor partnership they would prefer.
