The 5th Annual TowerXchange Meetup Europe will take place on 19-20 May 2020, For the first time, the Meetup will move to Barcelona, being held at the CCIB.

Key themes, discussion areas and focal points for 2020 include:

– MNO tower carve outs: their strategies and the impact on the sector

– Case studies of innovative models for neutral host indoor and outdoor coverage in a 5G era
– New towerco business models and the impact on margins and valuations
– Win-win scenarios in MNO-towerco contract renegotiations
– Factors impacting tenancy ratios including 2G switch off, new antennae and non-traditional tenants
– Edge data centres at the tower: Do the applications and economics stack up
– Improved site management through better data utilisation
– Enhancing site resilience
