Mobile phones have come a long way since the 2G days of plain voice and txtspk. Two successive generations of technology have revolutionised the way we interact with our phones, with content and with the world around us. However, as the dawn of 5G breaks first light on the horizon, it seems this next generation will create the biggest changes of all. There’s only one problem – no one is really sure what those changes will be.
